This page covers the first time you add Formify to a server and open the dashboard.

1. Add Formify to your server

You need Manage Server on the Discord server you want to configure.

1. Open the Formify dashboard.
2. Sign in with Discord.
3. Under Invite Ready Servers, find your server and click Add Bot.
4. Complete Discord's authorization screen.

If your server already has Formify, skip to step 2 below.

After Formify joins, it may create a Formify Setup category with a short read-me channel. That is normal.

2. Open your server in the dashboard

1. Go to formify.pro/dashboard.
2. Under Manageable Servers, click Open next to your server.

If you do not see your server:

• Confirm you have Manage Server on that guild.
• Confirm Formify is actually in the server (not just invited and removed).
• Refresh the dashboard page.

3. Register the server (only if needed)

Formify usually registers your server automatically when it joins.

If commands or the dashboard say the server is not registered, run this in any channel:

/register

You do not need any special permission for /register. If registration succeeds, try your original task again.

4. Create your first form

From the server home page:

1. Click New form (or go to Forms → create).
2. Fill in the form details (see Forms).
3. Click Save.
4. Open Embeds if you want to adjust how the Discord message looks.
5. Click Publish and choose the channel where members should see the form.

Saving alone does not post the form to Discord. You must publish (or use /resend in Discord after publishing once).

5. Optional: create a form in Discord

You can run /create in your server for a shorter wizard. That works well for simple forms with up to five questions per modal page.

For multi-tab setup, ticket options, role automation, and embed editing, use the dashboard.

Note: Discord-side creation has a default limit of four forms per server unless your server has an active top.gg vote bonus. The dashboard does not use that same limit for creation.
